Children’s Home Manger
Starling Recruitment are delighted to support this established and well respected provider of children’s residential services recruit for a new Registered Manager. This will be to run a home for children with disabilities in the Durham area. This home is rated as “Good” by Ofsted.
This company offer a committed and holistic approach to support children with disabilities and their families. The home is set in a stunning rural location with a stable staff team who support the children.
There is an experienced senior management team in place who provide significant investment and support to Managers. This position would suit a Manager with previous experience of managing a children’s home who are looking to move to work with children with additional needs.
Duties include:
- Staff management
- Building effective working relationships with other relevant professionals and families
- Care planning
- Full responsiblity for Ofsted requirements
- Adherence and implementing company policy and procedure
You will have
- Previous management experience working with children with disabilites
- NVQ 5 leadership & management
- Desire to create a stable, happy and nurturing home
In return you will receive a salary of up to £43k depending on experience. This organisation prides itself on it’s caring culture for staff and children alike and you will receive regular supervision from the senior management team.
