Registered Manager – Hexham
Starling Recruitment are delighted to support an innovative and well respected large provider of children’s residential services recruit for a Registered Manager. This will be to run up to 4 solo placements under the new multi buildings registration as a specialised trauma informed service for up to 4 young people. They are are looking for a dedicated Manager who wishes to create a nurturing home for children who have experienced trauma.
This company offer a truly therapeutic approach with internal teams to support the residential services. They are committed to providing positive experiences for their young people to support their individual interests and have specialist teams to provide education and an experienced clinical team. The homes themselves are beautiful, they are newly refurbished toa high standard and set in stunning rural locations close to the Hexham area.
The successful candidate will have full autonomy over the homes, have a Deputy Manager and Admin support as well as support from the experienced senior management team..
Duties include:
- Staff management
- Building effective working relationships with other relevant professionals and families
- Care planning
- Full responsible for Ofsted requirements
- Adherence and implementing company policy and procedure
You will have
- Previous management experience within any residential childcare setting
- Ideally NVQ 5 or desire to work towards it
- Desire to create a stable, happy and nurturing home
- Understanding of the various therapeutic approaches to childcare
In return you will receive a salary up to £55k per annum. This is a great opportunity to utilise your skills working with children and would suit an experienced Registered Manager looking to gain multi site experience as a next step in their career.
